He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Sommers and Josephine Sommers (Zines); his wife Elaine "Bobbie" Sommers; his daughter Sarah Manning; and his brothers, Robert and Gary Sommers.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Moore (Lloyd) of North Jackson and Scott Sommers (Melissa) of Mentor; his grandchildren, Alexis, Jacob Moore, Michael, Anna Sommers and Kaylee Manning; and his sister Joanne Hutter (Earl) of Salem.
