She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell C. Gibbs and Sara Ellen Gibbs (Pearce); her husband Russell R. Thatcher; her siblings, James "Jimmy" W. Gibbs, Charles Gibbs and Nanee Gibbs Bennett; and her stepdaughter Maribeth Franco Thatcher (Patricia Kalbfell).
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Margaret Gibbs of Salem, OH; her son Schuyler Schuff (Kathy); her granddaughter Francine Schuff; her great grandchild Harley Schuff of Phoenix, AZ; her stepgrandson Russell Franco (Becky) of Port Orchard, WA.; and her friends, David, Arlene Schwartz, Kathryn Moore, Robert Viencek, James and Marlene Lang. She is also survived by three sons and two grandsons, many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
