He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Nellie Smith; his brother Richard Smith; his son-in-law David Blackburn; his nephew David Smith; and his grandson Joseph Blackburn.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Smith; his children, Robert Smith (Debbie), Marilyn Blackburn and Douglas Smith (Dorie); his grandchildren, Brian Smith (Jamie), Becky Smith (Derik Heidemann), Mike Smith, Eric Smith, Brandy Huckaby (Joe), Andy Blackburn, Jake Blackburn (Courtney), Toby Blackburn, Jonas Smith, Jocelyn Tejedor (Audric) and Jared Smith (Bridgette); his great grandchildren, Kristin Smith, Luke Smith, Kaleb Huckaby, Paige Huckaby, Aiden Blackburn, Jayden Blackburn, Brantlee Blackburn, Paisley Blackburn, Tobias Blackburn, Kalani Tejedor, Ikaika Tejedor, Malinah Tejedor and Kekoa Tejedor; his sister-in-law Katie Smith; and his nieces, Christy Malone and Linda Daniels.
