She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Harmer and Irma Moffett Harmer; her husband Alvin O. Gilbert; and her brother Harry B. Harmer. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Gilbert of Lisbon, Kathryn Smith (Gary) of Saegertown, Nancy Rich (Joseph) of Leetonia, Cynthia Stacey of Kensington and Stephen Gilbert of Wilmington. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.

In compliance with Ohio State regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus a private family service will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home.
