He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Swegan and Frances Swegan; his former wife Elizabeth; and his daughter Dawn. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hammerton Swegan; his children, Richard B. (Debra Dinnocenzo) of Wexford, PA, Gary D. (Sue) of Bowling Green, OH and Ellen Stevenson (Wayne) of Russell's Point, OH.; his stepchildren, Jerry Hammerton (Diana) of Alliance, OH, Patricia Fall and Rob (Kelly) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; and his siblings, Carol Cross of Columbus, OH and Russell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
