He was predeceased by: his parents, Maury Hartman and Sarah Hartman Westwood (Parfitt); his siblings, Margaret DeLucia and William Hartman; and his stepfather Fred Westwood.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Hartman (Dzurenda); his children, Deborah Hartman of Salem, Donald P. Hartman (Janet) of Lisbon and Mark Hartman (Linda) of Lisbon; his grandchildren, Adrianna Hartman, Derek Hartman, Craig Hartman (Catherine), Kyle Hartman (Ashley) and Chad Hickman (Kate); and his great grandchild Kaden Hartman.
