He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Tyo and Vera Tyo (Mount); and his sister Barbara Hendricks. He is survived by: his wife Louise Tyo (Wilson) of Salem; his son Cooper Tyo (Sakuntala) of Bangkok, Thailand; his siblings, Karen Rich (David) of Canfield and Rick Tyo (Bua) of Gilbert, AZ; and his grandchildren, Maddy and Palmer Tyo.
