David Casner Stratton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Casner Stratton of Salem, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry David's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May David's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Coy and Doris Mae Stratton (Cobbs); and his siblings, Robert and Dolores Ehinger. He is survived by: his wife Marsine Stratton (Filp); his sisters, Grace Stratton and Marilyn Jobin; and his sister-in-law Bassha Stratton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem First Friends Church (1028 Jennings Ave, Salem, OH 44460). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
