She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Cogar and Inez Cogar (Vaughn); and her sister Kay Cogar. She is survived by: her husband Oscar "Bill" Triplett; her son Marvin; and her siblings, Lonnie Cogar (Shelia) of Webster Springs, WV, Ida McDaniels (Johnny) of Buckhannon, WV, Rose Bancroft of Webster Springs, WV, Russie Unger (Larry) of Buckhannon, WV and Retha Giles of Cowen, WV. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
