He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Goddard and Mildred Morrow Goddard; and his wife Shirley Goddard. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Goddard of Salem and Drew Goddard Strongsville; his grandchildren, Tony, Devin (Amber), D. J., Nicole, Zion and Zaire; and his great grandchildren, Aleeyah, Sebastian and Ophelia.
