With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Catherine A. Albrecht of Salem, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Catherine left this world on February 21, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Catherine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Catherine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richert and Justina Richert; and her husband Norman Albrecht. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Vargas (David) of Canfield; and her siblings, Reinald, John, Vic, Dorothy, Ed and Don.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Stark Memorial (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460).
In remembrance of her spirit and generosity, memorial contributions may be made to the Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church, an institution that was very close to her heart.
