Carole Ruth Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Ruth Smith of Salem, Ohio, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kalbfell and Rose Kalbfell (Rodgers); her husband Smith Jr.; her siblings, Bill Kalbfell, Rosalie Gilbert, Dorothy Barr, Sally Miller, Patricia Kalbfell and Donald Kalbfell; and her son-in-law Russell Wherry.
She is survived by: her children, Sheri Wherry Egli (Tom) of Homeworth, Teri Poduval (Dilip) of St. John's, FL, Lynda Vesy of Austintown, Randy Smith of Youngstown, Michelle Crank of Salem and Jennifer Smith (Mark Warner). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
