We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2020, at the age of 81, Bartholomew Schrode Jr. of Salem, Ohio, born in Glen Campbell, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bartholomew Schrode Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartholomew W. Sr. Schrode and Lillian J. Schrode (Cessna); his son Bartholomew W. Schrode III; and his brother Dennis Schrode. He is survived by: his wife Karen L. Schrode (Heitz); his sons, Keith Schrode (Kim) of Chardon, Bret Schrode (Tammy) of Washingtonville and Kharl Schrode (Tina) of Amsterdam; and his siblings, Joan Morrison of Syracuse, NY, James Schrode and Thomas Schrode of New Middletown. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

“We thought that planting 10 trees in a National Forest was a great way to remember Bart. You all went camping and fishing all the time and enjoyed the outdoors. It will also help with the environment and climate change. I know how hard this is for all of you because when I lost my Dad even with him being 92 it broke my heart. Karen, if you ever need to talk you know you can call me. Bart was a great person who always made us laugh. He Is up in heaven now getting the whole family together .”
