He was predeceased by: his father Ross Shuman; and his children, Connie Fellouzis and Terrell "Terry" Shuman. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Buttermore (Tod) of Salem; his wife Joyce Shuman of Salem; his grandchildren, Christopher Pew (Rikki), Brittany Johnson (David), Bethany Norris (George) and Christopher Carr; and his brother Ross Shuman of Sistersville, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
