He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Cross (Greenawalt) and James F. Cross Sr.; his daughter Bridgette R. Hapsic (Cross); his grandson Lonnie O. Wilson Jr.; and his sister Geraldine Altimore.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret A. Cross (Harrington); his children, Michelle Yoder (Ron) of Berlin Center, Antwanette Perez (Daniel) of Dalton, GA, Susan Perez Sr. (Arturo) of Chatworth, GA, Paula Marie Conrad of New Castle and Anthony Cross Jr. (Marian) of Salem; and his siblings, Shirley Thompson of Valdosta, GA, Marlene May (Bill) of Leetonia, Carol Bates (Oral) of Salem, Donna Bates (Randy) of Sebring, Jeanette Bates (Rick) of Salem, Jim Cross Jr. (Vicki) of Salem and Donald Cross (Debbie) of Salem. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
