He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Lige Martin and Hallie Elizabeth Martin-Ramsey; and his brother Terry Pierce Martin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Martin-Lawson; his sister Beverly Ann Mette (John Adrian); and his children, Elizabeth Marie Martin, Angela Ann Baker (Justin Michael) and Leonard G Martin Jr. (Jamie Miranda). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
