He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Shearer and Edith Shearer (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Shearer (Stephens); his children, Naomi Barber (Wesley), Nathan Shearer (Rebekah) and Joshua Shearer (Rhoda); his grandchildren, Shiloh, Adelaide, Danielle, Silas, McKenna, Iris, Solomon and Emily; and his siblings, Dale Fern Shearer, Brenda Ross and Bradley Shearer (Marilyn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
