It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Deaton of Saint Paris, Ohio, born in Logan, Ohio, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis P. Baughman and Naomi Grace Baughman (Erwin); her brother Richard Baughman; and her sisters-in-law, Pat and Arleen Baughman.
She is survived by: her significant other Paul Richard Deaton; her children, Donnie Deaton (Tammy) of Saint Paris, David Deaton (Lisa) of Troy, William Deaton (Sue) of New Carlisle and Janie Worthington (Mark) of Fletcher; her grandchildren, Melonie Benham (Doug) of Tipp City, Dawn Wallace (Tom) of Casstown, Elizabeth Morrow (Nick) of Covington, Matthew Worthington (Jenny) of Hilliard, Dustin Worthington of Bradford, Kelsey Shaner (Daniel) of Saint Leonard, Josh Deaton (Kayla) of Beavercreek and Heather Kanet (Jonathan) of Troy; her great grandchildren, Katelynn, Thomas, Wyatt, Lee, Tyler, Luke, Emily, Jack, Benjamin, Joey, Kendell, Hadley, Cora, Quinn and Addison; her siblings, Thomas Baughman of Sidney, Marilyn Mason of Saint Paris and Nancy Korner (Roger) of Urbana; and her brother-in-law Bill Deaton (Susie) of Saint Paris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
