He was predeceased by: his father Earl Weigel; his wife Pamela Vires; his mother Patricia Weigel-Veit (Cogan); his stepfather Thomas Veit, Sr.; and his sister Judith Wical.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Weigel (Joyce) of St. Marys, OH, Stacy Coffey (Rod) of Wapakoneta, OH, Danielle Garman (Brian) of St. Marys, OH and Tiffany Neargarder (John) of St. Marys, OH; his stepson Andrew Maher of Holland, OH; his brother-in-law Jerry Chilcoat (Jodi) of St. Marys, OH; his siblings, Teresa Veit of Columbus, OH and Thomas Veit of Richmond, KY; and his sisters-in-law, Penny Glass of St. Marys, OH and Stacy Koeper of St. Marys, OH. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
