Shirley M. Hicks Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley M. Hicks of Saint Marys, Ohio, born in Northfield, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 19, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Demar and Mildred Demar (Dunsmoor); her brothers-in-law, Eric Welker and Dennis Dorsten; her brothers, Fred, Howard, Edwin, Frank and Richard Demar; her son-in-law Mark Harrelson; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Agnes Hicks, Donnie Edward Hicks, Eugene Hicks, Wanda, Cletus Mahaffey, Phyllis, Everett Lauth, Dolores, Tobbie Derossett, Joy, Rainer "Nick" Brodnicki and Wayne Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Hicks (Rene), Brenda S. Hill (Glenn) of St. Marys and Tina M. Harrelson (Mark Logan) of Fresno; and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Miller, Bonita, June and Brenda Hicks. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
