He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Miars and Helen Miars (Schelby); and his siblings, Janie Goodwin and John Miars. He is survived by: his wife Catherine McClintock; his children, Chad Miars (Monica) of Reynoldsburg and Nikki Miars of Saint Marys; his grandchildren, Lauren Miars and Landon Miars; his sister Gayle Sachs (Bob) of Centerville; and his nieces and nephews, Bryan Kelley (Megan), Becky Lowrey (Ed), Damon Goodwin (Danielle), Deron Goodwin (Leslie), Kerri Sharpin (Doug) and Kolyn.
