He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Yahl and Martha Yahl (Greve); his wife Patricia Dyer; his grandson Wyatt Yahl; and his siblings, Irene Doseck (Sam), Mary Brown (Francis), Emma Clements (Jim), Rose Braun (Roger), Clara Lenhart (Herm), Sister Rita Yahl, Anthony Yahl (Judy), William Yahl (Mary) and Jerome Yahl (Esther).
He is survived by: his children, Brett Yahl (Angie) of Saint Marys, Brian Yahl (Kim) of Saint Marys and Renee Lauth (Craig) of Saint Marys; his grandchildren, Zach Yahl, Erica Lutz, Lorraine Yahl, Stuart Yahl, Chance Yahl, Hope Yahl, Deavan Lauth and Garrett Lauth; his brothers, Gene Yahl (Janice) and Joseph Yahl (Connie) of Saint Marys; and his close friend Lois Poly.
