He is survived by: his children, Rick Scherer (Melissa) of Vandalia and Mary Jenkins (Keith) of Vandalia; and his stepchildren, Eric Imwalle (Gwen) of Saint Marys, Sonnie Bernardi (Robert) of Celina, Allen Imwalle (Karen) of Saint Marys, Cindy Steinke (Stan) of Wapakoneta, Rick Imwalle (Tori) of Saint Marys, Kim Imwalle of Celina, Holly Kurtz (Mike) of Farmersville, Ohio, Tammy Imwalle of Dayton and Scott Imwalle (Jemma) of Wallace. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
