He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lennartz and Antonette Lennartz (Kaup); his daughter Nancy Hertenstein; his siblings-in-law, Vernon Brockman, Aloys Siefring (Hilda), Cyril Siefring (Romilda), Herbert Siefring (Irene), Elmer Siefring (Rita), Ron Mendenhall, John Zumberger, Walter Evers, Ruth Lennartz, Alfreda Rose (Ralph), Lucille Kramer (Leon), Florentine Siefring, Esther Wuebker (Victor), Mary Liette (Hubert) and Virginia "Ginny" Schaefer (Robert); and his brothers, Melvin A. Lennartz and Billy Lennartz.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Lennartz (Kathleen) of Saint Marys, Randal Lennartz (Elaine) of Troy, Ohio and Sandra Dieringer of Saint Marys; his son-in-law Scott Hertenstein (Sonja) of Dayton; and his siblings, Lillian Brockman of Coldwater, Robert Lennartz (Delores) of Centerville, Ohio, Donald Lennartz (Linda) of Ft. Recovery, Dorothy Wendel (Gerald) of Coldwater and Eugene Lennartz (Barbara) of Ft. Recovery. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
