He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Mary Smith (Tucker); and his sisters, Linda Smith and Edith Harshbarger. He is survived by: his wife Patricia V. Burklo; his children, Vincent Edward Smith (Vicki) of St. Marys, OH, Lynda Katterheinrich (Bill) of New Knoxville, OH and Greg Smith (Suzanne) of St. Marys, OH; his grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Tammy), Andrea Krogman (Terry), Brian Smith (Carla), Jaclyn Smith, Alisa Katterheinrich, Rachel Smith, Laura Katterheinrich and Austin Smith; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Dallas, Dyllan, Eli and Farrah; and his brothers, Linden Smith (Janice) of Lima, OH and Roy Smith (Sue).
