She was predeceased by: her parents, Albaugh Lee and Ora Horton (Picklesimer); her spouse Aubrey Watkins; her son Terry Watkins; and her siblings, Cleo Williamson, Norma Lee Newton and Bernard Horton.
She is survived by: her daughter Charlotte Bruce (Ronnie) of Saint Marys; her daughter-in-law Carol Watkins of Blue Ridge, Georgia; her grandsons, Darren Watkins (Amber) of Murphy, Kevin Watkins (Heather) of Blue Ridge and Shane Bruce (Jolena) of Saint Marys; and her siblings, Iva Jean Oliver of Jefferson, GA and Elton Horton of Ellijay, GA.. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations may be given to the Baptist Childrens' Home in Hayesville, North Carolina, in ℅ the Truett Baptist Association, 2235 North Carolina Highway 141, Marble, North Carolina, 28905.
