With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack L. Oakman Sr. (Saint Marys, Ohio), born in Union City, Ohio, who passed away on June 1, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Oakman and Laura Oakman (Hufford); his wife Gloria Jean Altman; his son Francis Oakman; and his siblings, Harold Oakman and Marlene Knief.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Oakman, Jr. (Susie) of Findlay, DuWayne Oakman (Jackie) of Arcadia, Rick Oakman (Phyllis) of Findlay, Catherine Howard (Brian) of Findlay and Kristina Hall (Jody) of Durant, OK; his stepchildren, Brad Burson (Marie), Julie Sizemore (Kent) of Findlay, Becky Cochran (Craig) of Findlay and Darla Swiger (Bruce); and his brother Gary Oakman of Celina. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
