Dawn Marie Roop Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dawn Marie Roop of Saint Marys, Ohio, born in Oakland City, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 49. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Pauline and Morland Smith; and her uncle Charles "Butch" Keneipp. She is survived by: her husband Bryan L. Roop; her son Tristan Wilcox (Bryanna) of Ft. Campbell, KY; her stepchildren, Cameron Roop (Aleah) of Lima, OH, Levi Roop of Spencerville, OH and Isabel Roop of Spencerville, OH; her grandchildren, Amira, Emmett, Violet Wilcox and Bentlee Roop; her mother Paula McLaughlin (Keneipp) of St. Marys, OH; her in-laws, Larry Roop (Linda) of Cridersville, OH and Tom Swickrath (Debbie) of Lima, OH; her aunts, Karen Keneipp, Joan Keneipp and Dixie; her uncle Chuck Courtney; and her friend Terese Johnson-Christian. She is also survived by extended family consisting of numerous aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1605 Celina Rd, St Marys, OH 45885). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family to assist with final expenses, or to Hospice.
