He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Jones and Alice Jones (Opalinski); and his brothers, Theodore Jones and Rick Jones. He is survived by: his former wife Sallyanne Calvert of Middle Point, Ohio; his children, Jodi Anderson (Troy) of Saint Marys and Casey Jones of Neptune; his grandchildren, Jon Anderson, Alex Anderson, Cierra Grothause and Caleb Jones; his great grandchildren, Carter Anderson, Guinevere Anderson, Theodore Grothause, Oliver Grothause, Samuel Jones and Roman Jones; and his siblings, Darlene Prince of Continental, Bob Jones of Paulding, Alan Jones of Defiance, Steve Jones of Columbus and Lori Parker of Columbus.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1605 Celina Rd, St Marys, OH 45885). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
