He was predeceased by: his uncle Tom Brodbeck of Warren, IN; his parents-in-law, Geary and Betty Bubp; his brother-in-law Dwight Curl; and his granddaughter Kennedy Schreiber.
He is survived by: his parents, Harold "Lefty" and Mary Hertenstein (Chivington); his spouse Lorraine "Katie" Bubp; and his sons, Josh Hertenstein (Laura) of St. Marys, Toby Hertenstein (Dee), Zach Hertenstein (Kim Krebs) and Seth Hertenstein (Lyndsay) of St. Marys. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
