He was predeceased by: his parents, William Munroe Banks Sr. of St. Mary's and Ozzie (Harris); his former wife Alberta Lewis Banks; and his siblings, William Banks Sr., Alvin Banks, Richard Banks and Pauline Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Roberts Anderson Banks; his sons, Charles Banks Jr. (Selena), Mark Banks (Tracy), Alvin Banks (Latifah) and Darren Banks; his brother Noel Banks of Ohio; and his brother-in-law David Walker Jr.. He is also survived by stepchildren; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.
