With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Mangen of Saint Marys, Ohio, born in Fort Loramie, Ohio, who passed away on October 25, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Barhorst and Anna Barhorst (Barlage); her husband Orville Mangen; her siblings, Joan Vondenhuevel, Albert Barhorst and Harold Barhorst; her brothers-in-law, Leroy Koverman and Vernon Vondenhuevel; her nephew Lawrence Koverman; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Barhorst and Joann Barhorst.
She is survived by: her son Walter Mangen (Marsha) of Saint Marys; her grandchildren, Sara Berelsman (Andrew) of Seymour, Tennessee and Alex Mangen (Stacey Lane Smith) of Poway, California.; her great grandchildren, Adele Grace Berelsman and Eleanor Rose Berelsman; and her siblings, Norma Koverman (Leroy) of Saint Marys, Carl Barhorst (Eileen) of Fort Loramie and Ernest Barhorst of Fort Loramie.
