It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma L. Kuffner of Saint Marys, Ohio, born in Wapakoneta, Ohio, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Shaw and Rose Shaw (Martin); her siblings, Carmen Van Doren (George), Maxine Fantz (Fred), James Shaw (Jane), Jane Rickert (Roland) and Martha Bitters (Richard); her in-laws, Dr. Elizabeth Kuffner and Frederick Kuffner (Emma); and her siblings-in-law, Donald and Bette Ruth Maxwell.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Kuffner; her children, Kurt Kuffner (Donna) of St. Marys, Kris Kuffner (Donna) of Indianapolis and Kathy Lampert (John) of St. Marys; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson (Jason) of St. Marys, Emily Meinerding (John) of St. Marys, Alex Lampert (Jill) of St. Marys, Adam Kuffner of West Lafayette, Greg Kuffner of Sandy Springs, Georgia and Nathan Kuffner of Sandy Springs; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Makenna, Cason, Xander Meinerding, Braylon, Zoey, Bailey and Zane Lampert; and her sister-in-law Beth Maxwell.
Memorial contributions can be made in Alma's honor to Zion Lutheran Church and/or Grand Lake Hospice.
