He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sylvester and Mary Louise Dyar (Shaw); his siblings, Donald Dyar, James "Jimmy" Dyar, Michael Dyar, Dorothy Doll, Ella Cramer and Jean Tolliver; and his stepsons, Kelvin Boyer and Charles "Sonny" Donahue.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Dyar (Ridenour); his sister Mary "Ginny" Rosshirt; his stepchildren, Walter "Oak" Balo (Penny) and Connie McDaniel; his stepgranddaughter Kindra Balo; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Keegan McDaniel and Koltan McDaniel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, step-great great grandchildren; and many friends.
