He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus J. Hemmelgarn and Agnes Hemmelgarn (Knapke); and his brother Ken Hemmelgarn. He is survived by: his in-laws, Marlene, Patrick McKinney of Fort Wayne, Judy, Bill Schoenlein of Portland, Jane, Randy Thobe of New Bremen, Dan and Mary Ann Hemmelgarn of Saint Henry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
