He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo May and Catherine May (Braun); his son Daniel May; his siblings, Jerry Pottkotter, Bud May and Rosie May; and also, Thomas May, Marie Pottkotter and Pat Pottkotter.
He is survived by: his spouse Lou Ann May (Pottkotter); his children, Thomas (Stacie May), Michelle (Larry Dues), Christopher (Robin May), Karen May (Scott Stachler) of Coldwater, Constance (Andy Stachler), Douglas May (Julie Schlarman) of Ft. Recovery, Kathryn (Terry Selhorst) and Tammy (Paul Kaiser); his great grandchild Koy Evers; his sister Rita; and also, Albert, Ralph Pottkotter, Hernry, Rita Pottkotter, Mike Barga and Roger Pottkotter.
In lieu of flowers and gifts the family requests donations to be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, CAMC.
