She was predeceased by: her parents, Dietrick Bertke and Alma Bertke (Schulte); her husband Robert Birt; her sons, Matthew, Gary and Joseph; and her in-laws, Paul, Lucille Bertke, Pat, Tom Hamberg, Jim, Rita Birt and Ronald "Pete" Weddle.
She is survived by: her children, Angela (Jerry Dircksen), Tess (Tom Kaup), Bob (Lisa Birt) and Becky Birt of St. Henry; her grandchildren, Kris (Travis Kanorr), Julie (Michael Berry), Erin Dircksen (Brandon Thobe), Alex Dircksen, Ian Dircksen, Hannah Kaup, Spencer Kaup, Michael (Julia Birt), Steve (Jen Birt) and Katie (Jesse Miller); and her sister-in-law Myra Weddle. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
