He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Cottrell and Lois Mae Gross Cottrell; his brother Roger Cottrell; and his father-in-law John F. Rushman. He is survived by: his wife Candy L. Rushman Cottrell; his children, Eric L. Cottrell and April L. Cottrell; his siblings, Robert, Gary, Joseph Cottrell, Linda Severance, Jeanie Betustak and Renee Pena; and his mother-in-law Bertie Rushman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
