He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Coach" Thurnes; and his brother Dean Thurnes. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Thurnes (Lewandowski) of St. Clairsville; his sisters, Leslie Gloin of St. Augustine, FL and Kerry Formick (Scott) of Rootstown, OH; his niece Alexandra Quellhorst (Nate); his nephews, Dylan Gloin of St. Augustine, FL, Connor of Rootstown, OH and Garrett Formick of Rootstown, OH; and his great-nephew Lincoln Gloin.
Because of the COVID-19 virus there will be no public visitation and services will be private.
