Benda of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Benda; his stepfather William Hendershot; his brother James "Jimmy" Benda; and his father-in-law Terry Bickmeyer. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Johnson Hendershot; his fiancé Jody Bickmeyer; his children, Harley Benda and Mark Benda; his siblings, Terri Leadenham, David Hendershot, Rusty Hendershot, Michael Hendershot, Jody Hendershot, Nancy Johnson, Scott Hendershot and Cathy Dare; and his mother-in-law Judy Bickmeyer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distance and facial coverings will be required during visitation at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
