Sommer Truax Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sommer Truax of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sommer Truax to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Truax and Louise Sommer Truax; his wife Evelyn M. Sklenar Truax; and his sister Shirley Truax. He is survived by: his children, Donna Polivka of Spartanburg, David Truax (Diane) of St. Clairsville and Danny Truax (Carol) of Richmond, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Heath (Kirk), Carl Polivka (Cheryl), James Polivka and Justin Polivka (Megan). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required during a Private Service for Family only on Tuesday at 11 a. m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
