She was predeceased by: her parents, Conoy Lyons and Mariah Jones Lyons; her husband Emmett Rice; her son Emmett R. Rice, Jr.; her brothers, Henry, Leonard and Leo Lyons; and her great grandchild Denajua Delaney.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Rice of Fort Walton Beach, Madelyn "Cookie" Sanders of South Euclid, Teresa C. Rice of Saint Clairsville and Jeannette "GiGi" Allison (John) of Canal Winchester; her sister-in-law Tami Lyons of Mill Valley, California.; and her grandchildren, Evans "Lee" Delaney, Jr., Ruth Delaney, TerryLynn Delaney, Mariah Allison, Rauchelle Allgood (Byron), LaSha Allison and Christian Atwood (Terry). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, over 30 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
