She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hurd and Velma Varner Hurd; her husband Louis "Bud" Chisnell; her children, Cindy Jones and Jeff Chisnell; her adoptive mother Mary Hurd; and her siblings, John, Charles Hurd and Mary Murray.

She is survived by: her daughter Velma; her friend Mary Hood (Nora); her great grandchild Emerson; her son Mark Chisnell (Laurie); her grandchildren, Sara Chisnell, Hope Chisnell, Dirk Chisnell, Chloe Chisnell, Lawanda Tucker (Sid), Lance Jones, Jeffrey Chisnell (Emily) and Amanda Taggart; her nieces, Susan Murray and Anna Marie Besece; and also Dirk.
