He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas A. Kies and Mary Clements (McGlothlin); and his siblings, Mary E. Harris and Robert Kies. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Michael D. Kies II of Jacobsburg, OH, Angela E. Kies (Whitney Brown) of St. Clairsville and Jessica M. Beveridge (Brian) of Bellaire, OH; his siblings, Madison Beveridge and Mason; and his friend Belinda Kies (Applegarth).
