She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hawthorne and Helen McCollough Hawthorne; her husband Jack Weir; her son John Christopher Weir; and her siblings, Sandra Snyder, Kenneth Hawthorne and Jerry Hawthorne.
She is survived by: her children, James Weir of Martins Ferry and Jacquie Cacciatore Phoenix (Paul); her grandchildren, Alexandria Godoy (Anthony), Taylor Lorraine Wisvari-Weir and Jack Vincent Weir; her great grandchild Piper Stephanie Godoy; her siblings, Joyce Shrodes, Helen Mercer, Paulette Kendall and Robert Hawthorne; and her daughter-in-law Susan L. Weir (James). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
