Joyce Hammock Carson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Hammock Carson in Saint Clairsville, Ohio, born in Front Royal, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Millie Hammock and Statton Hammock; and her former husband Joseph Malcolm Carson, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Joe; her brother Alan Hammock (Virginia) of Morgantown, WV; her children, Jean Carson Hamilton (Blake), Judith Carson Spering (Jim), Joseph Lougheed Carson (Ellen) and James Hammock Carson (Kristin); her grandchildren, Dana, Drew (Avery), Leigh, Jac, Kendon (Jake), Keeley (Joe), Carson (Sydney), Aubrey, Kristin, Ally, Collin, Will, Sam, Katherine and Claire; and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Beau, Cara, Charlie and Liam.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the St. Clair Country Club (2300 Old Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (14 W 1st St, Front Royal, VA 22630).
