He is survived by: his children, Jody Lovell (Wood), Gigi Zaccagnini (late Dennis), Jan Arnold (Trent) and John II Piehowicz (Caroline); his grandchildren, Andy Flor (Amy), Alyson Scheidler (Justin), Lucki Malloy (Drew Brown), Michael Malloy, McKyle Malloy, John Piehowicz III, Joseph Piehowicz, Wood Lovell (Sara) and Will Lovell (Suzannah); his siblings, Joann Boiarski (David) and Tony Piehowicz (Judy); and his close friend Booger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
