She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Jaskowiak and Mary Jaskowiak; her husband John James Spano Sr.; and her sister Anna Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, John Spano Jr. (Cindy Staskey), Jeanne Mottle (Jeff) and Joy Strahl (Tim); her grandchildren, Janessa Mottle, Jarrett Mottle, Janelle Robson and Paul Graham; her great grandchildren, Aubri and Ezlynn Robson; and her siblings, John Jaskowiak (Pat) and Jeannie DeFrank. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
