He is survived by: his wife Katherine Yasenchak Fiutem; his sons, James (Nancy), Robert and John Fiutem (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jessalyn (Johnathon Lee), Brandon (Courtney), Katie (Seth) and Shaylah (Alex); and his close friend Jerry Pack.
