It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Debertrand Jr. of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest DeBertrand and Geraldine DeBertrand (Smith); his stepmother Shirley DeBertrand (Boynes); his sister Judith Ann DeBertrand; and his brother-in-law Gregory Gazda.
He is survived by: his children, Jon DeBertrand (Lynette) and Nichole Ponzani (Chris); his grandsons, Jacob DeBertrand, Zane and Matthew Ponzani; his former wife Teresa DeBertrand (Gazda); his siblings, Graylan DeBertrand of St. Clairsville, Roger DeBertrand (Indiana) and Valerie DeBertrand (Massachusetts); his aunt Jane Moore (Columbus); his uncle Herb Gary Boggs (Maryland); and also, Carl, Cathy Gazda, Richard, Carol Berry and Colleen Gazda. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
